The same engine as Apaya. Plus the part you need if you publish in Italy.
Apaya is a good product. It learns the voice from the brand's website, writes in its tone, schedules and publishes — with human review in the flow, same as us. On the engine we are level, and it is only fair to say so. What we add matters if you work here: in regulated sectors we flag risky claims before they go out, with the legal reference alongside. We do not guarantee compliance; the final ok stays yours. And your brand's data stays stored in Europe. Instagram and Facebook today, LinkedIn coming. Preview by invitation.
The verdict, in short
- Learns the voice from the brand — tied
- Human approval in the flow — tied
- Flags claims in Italian regulated sectors — appost.io only
- European data residency, stated — appost.io only
Four things people publishing in Italy ask for. Apaya was not built for these.
The flag on regulated sectors
Apaya writes and publishes, but it does not look at the Italian regulatory frame. Health claims, comparative advertising, unsourced superlatives all pass through as they are. We looked on the homepage, the features page, the agency page and the FAQ: it is not stated anywhere. It is a product built for another market — not a flaw, just its perimeter.
Where the data ends up
Apaya states it is SOC 2 and that it complies with GDPR and CCPA, but it does not say where your brand’s content is stored. We do: your data stays stored in Europe, on Cloudflare D1 in Europe and Resend EU. And the analytics runs without cookies.
Italian, properly
Apaya is English only and speaks to an American market. appost.io is written in native Italian and reasons about the Italian regulatory frame. The product was built here; it is not a translation of something else.
The record of what you approved
Both of us have human approval. With us it is mandatory, and every decision — a flagged claim, an approved post — stays in an exportable audit trail you can pass to the client or keep as evidence. In a regulated sector the record counts as much as the decision.
appost.io vs Apaya.
Apaya data checked on apaya.com (homepage and /pricing), June 2026. The price list changes often and the agency tiers do not always appear on the main page: check the official page before deciding.
A risky claim, in a regulated sector.
The post goes out as it is
- The risky claim meets no check for regulated sectors
- No legal reference alongside it
- No exportable record of what was published and why
- If a complaint arrives, you find out afterwards
The claim gets flagged first
- The risky claim is flagged and reaches you already rewritten
- Every flag cites the legal reference it rests on
- You approve, and every decision stays in an exportable audit trail
- You always know what was stopped before it got to you
appost.io does not beat Apaya on everything. Apaya is a solid product, already on the market, with a public price, more channels and an agency offering more mature than ours. But if you work in Italy, in a regulated sector, and you care that your brand’s data stays stored in Europe with a human ok and a record on every post, the piece Apaya is missing is the one you will find here.
Choose appost.io if
- You work in an Italian regulated sector and want risky claims flagged before you publish
- You need to be able to tell your client the data stays stored in Europe
- You want a product and a voice in native Italian, not translated
- You care about an exportable record of what was approved and why
Apaya still makes sense if
- You need something already on the market, with a public price and self-serve signup
- You want more channels from day one (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X)
- You want a more mature agency white-label, right now
- You work in English, for an American market

What you want to know before you choose.
What does appost.io do that Apaya does not state?
It flags risky claims in Italian regulated sectors before they go out, with the legal reference alongside — the flag is ours, the final ok stays yours, and we do not guarantee compliance. It keeps your data stored in Europe. And it is in native Italian. Everything else, learning the voice from the brand, writing, getting approval and publishing, both of us do.
Is Apaya GDPR-compliant for Italy?
Apaya states it is SOC 2 and complies with GDPR and CCPA, but it does not say where it stores the data. We do: your content stays stored in Europe (Cloudflare D1 in Europe, Resend EU) and the analytics runs without cookies. On the AI processing, the no-training rule applies to your content; providers and safeguards are set out in the DPA.
Does appost.io have a public price like Apaya?
No. We are in preview and the launch price is not set yet: we decide it with the first design partners. Apaya does publish its prices (Spark $39/month, Blaze $109/month, Managed+ $1,299/month, Enterprise custom). Here you try the product first and the price comes after.
Can I use it for my agency, the way I do with Apaya?
Yes, with one difference. It is not an app with your branding on it: the client approves from a dedicated portal where your brand stays on top, with a separate workspace per client. We explain it on the agencies page. On agency white-label, Apaya is more mature than we are today.
Apaya is on the market and you are in preview: why wait?
If you need a tool right now, with a public price and more channels, Apaya is a sensible choice today. If what you need is fit with the regulated Italian market and data stored in Europe, it is worth joining the preview: we handle onboarding by hand and set the price with you. We tell you what exists now, not what we hope for.
